My godfather found out that he has cancer. He will be going into his third week or radiation and I was wondering what kind of treats i could give him. All of the radiation goes to his neck so i dont know what i can give him. We have already gave him jello and soup, so something other then that.
What kind of treats can i give to my godfather going into his third week of radiation?

The ensure drinks may not be teh best treat, but they give the much needed vitamins/energy that will help him to fight this horrible disease.

I think ensure was a great idea. Milk shakes too, but beware of the lactose intolerance thing. Some people really get it bad. They have some realy nice antioxidant drinks at the store now. I get a pomegranite one. I pick the ones that look the healthiest for me. Xocai makes a chocolate syrup drink. But I think it would be a little too much chocolate for him unless he really really loves chocolate. There is a chocolate nugget that helps to get rid of the free radicals in your body. But that is a chunk of chocolate and I do not know if he would be able to put a whole piece of anything in his mouth quite yet. I will mail you a sample for free. I hate cancer!!! But for now, i think the best bet is the ensure.

what about little pudding cups, or yogurt, or even chocolate mousse? it's soft and a nice treat if he likes that kind of thing.
